This website had amazing elementary lesson plan book templates. There was a variety to choose from and were in Microsoft Office so could be printed out to be used either by week or by month depending on the different templates.

ABCteach had a ton of cools printable materials for students. They were all based on different subjects and grade levels. There were core subject activity pages, reading comprehension pages, holidays and seasonal pages, and other fun activity pages. Incredible @rt Department offered a lot of elementary art lessons. This was perfect for me because I will be teaching elementary art and will need different ideas to do with the students using art. The website allowed you to choose by grade level, art periods, subject, and artist. Would be a grade website when trying to figure out an art project to tie together with the lesson.

Thing 20: YouTube and Video
http://teachertube.com/viewVideo.php?video_id=130981&title=Grammar_Rock___Nouns
TeacherTube was very beneficial and I found a video to use in class that would help my students with nouns. This video is perfect because it is only a short clip, but helps students get the idea and better understand the new lesson on nouns. This video would tie together with the WORDLE poster on nouns.

Thing 18: Online Productivity tools

ZoHo Writer: This site was amazing and allowed me to create a word processed document and then publish it to my blog or share it with others. I was also allowed to collaborate on the document with others who I had shared it with. With technological issues, this website was very beneficial because it allowed me to edit and access documents even when there was no internet connection.

Thing 9: Education feeds
Technorati: This site helped me search for different educational blogs and other resources by simply typing in what I was looking for. The best part of this blog finding tool was it allowed me to search by different subjects and topics.
Thing 12: Fun 'n' Games
WORDLE was a great way to create a poster of nouns for the second grade level. The words are arranged on a poster like area and different colors and designs can be used in all different subjects for all different grade levels.
Thing 5: Explore Flickr

I found flickr helpful for finding images of different classroom set ups and ideas to use in the classroom. I also found these images helpful for looking at different bulletin board set ups and ways to make the classroom look more colorful and interesting while being organized at the same time.

Presentations and Videos
There are several ways in which technology can make a huge improvement on what students learn and attain from the lesson they are being taught. One teaching situation in particular is having the new lesson be presented using power-point presentations and interactive screens which keep the children focused and attentive to the new material the teacher is discussing. New material and lessons can be presented using videos and even online games where the students are using repetition. I feel that any technology which is fast and interactive is an improvement in helping children learn in ways their brains are trained in this new technological culture.
